What You Should Know About Energy Healing
As a Energy Healer, I often meet people who are curious and fascinated with what Energy Healing is and how it works. Firstly, Energy Healing is a holistic practice that activates the body's energy systems to remove any blockages and helps them to move as they should to stimulate the body's ability to heal itself. The Practitioner channels positive energy into your body by placing their hands over or on the affected areas of the body that need an energy boost or balancing. Your body will then take the energy where it is needed most - energy healing.
Energy Healing is based on science. As Humans we are all energy beings. We all operate at different frequencies or vibrations at different times. Everything around us has a vibration, the trees, the earth, the sea, gemstones. You don't have to understand metaphysics to understand the principles of Reiki but you do have to have an open mind. There are several modalities of Energy Healing including Acupuncture (where the practitioner uses needles to stimulate the flow of chi/energy and rebalance the body). Reflexology is another modality that frees up blocked energy and promotes healing by stimulating the meridians, organs and systems through points on the hands, ears and feet. Crystal Healing is another alternative medical technique in which stones that act as conduits for healing energy to flow into the body while negative energy flows out are used. These holistic modalities have been in use for centuries.
I became interested in Energy Healing around 20 years ago. I had a very ill daughter who was hospitalized frequently and on life support more times than I can count, for what they labeled as Status Asthmaticus. She did not respond to the medications that she was given and over the years started to deteriorate as a result of all of the medications. The steroids she was on led to healing issues, bone deterioration, muscle atrophy at injection sites, cataracts and the list goes on.
I wanted to be able to help her because nothing was working. Through a vegan diet, creating natural products for her to use (such as sea moss gel and different sea moss gel blends with added herbs, healing soaps, healing lotions, hair products that are all natural without chemicals), as well as treating her with Reiki energy healing, her health has finally improved!
I knew that I wanted to be able to share this gift of channeling energy that I learned, with anyone around me who needs it.
